Now available for LIMITED preorder, we are proud to introduce production of DIY conversion plates for rotating back Graflex SLR’s. Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, these allow you to add a Pacemaker Graphic back to your SLR. We are making these in three distinct varieties. The first two are both for 3x4 RB SLR’s; one is centered for 3x4 peelapart polaroid and the other is centered for 4x5 sheet film. (Neither patterns have been tested with the lomograflok back and are not intended for use with it) The third version is for putting a 4x5 Graflok back onto a 4x5 RB SLR. All versions mount to the SLR with the original RB ring.

Each adapter plate will have threaded holes so you can utilize the 5 screw holes in the Graphic back with the new screws included in each kit. There are an additional 4 countersunk holes around the outer edge for the more adept DIY folk to drill and tap their own holes in their Pacemaker Graflok back. (adding a redundancy measure for more reliable hold, though ultimately not necessary)

For the 3x4 variants we will be including an acrylic reducing mask, as the cropped image leaves soft edges without it. We have also gone a few extra steps and will be including laser cut adhesive felting for your original Graflex back, to aid in converting the camera back to original if you ever wish.

Note: Not all Graflok backs are built the same. Oddly, the exact placement of holes on your Graflok back may vary from unit to unit. We have designed the adapter plates pattern to fall into a sort of happy in-between that should fit most iterations. These adapter plates are also only tested for fit with Pacemaker era backs, we are not intending these for use with anniversary edition Speed Graphic backs. Again, these have not been tested with and are not intended for use with the lomograflok instax wide back. Recalibrating your cameras top ground glass is REQUIRED.
